Honor the red, white, and blue with the North Carolina Symphony at The Wilson Center on July 2, 2022! Celebrate the USA as the NC Symphony plays our patriotic favorites! Plan and get your tickets early to ensure you get your seats—doors open at 6:30 PM, with tickets starting at $20 each.
If the symphony isn’t your cup of tea, you can also celebrate at the Wilmington Sharks game on July 2, 2022! Watch the Wilmington Sharks game with your friends and family, and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display after. Gates open around 6:00 PM, so come early to find the best seats!
Battle for Independence Road Race is at The Pointe at Barclay on the morning of July 4, 2022. Celebrate our independence and honor those who served by running a 5K or one-mile distance race, open to runners of all levels. It’s a family-friendly race along Independence Boulevard on Gary Shell Cross-City Trail. 5K race starts at 7:30 AM, and 1-mile starts at 8:15 AM.
