Wilmington’s Live Oak Bank Pavilion Amphitheatre at Riverfront Park
The new amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina, called “Live Oak Bank Pavilion at Riverfront Park ”, is getting attention from residents and travelers alike because of its fantastic line-up of local and international events.
Live Oak Bank Pavilion Features
With a 7,200 person capacity, the new amphitheater in Wilmington is close to the Cape Fear River in the downtown area, and has a spectacular riverfront view.
The stage is 4,000 square feet and includes a production office at the back that sits in a 6.6-acre lot. An open lawn space is reserved for fans, music lovers, and food and beverage kiosks.
It’s the perfect outdoor venue that gives people the freedom to move and appreciate the riverfront view.
There are also 30 restroom units located at the far east end of the stage.
Sage Coombe Architects from New York built the incredible infrastructure. The lawn area fits about 4,800 people for standing room and is slightly elevated compared to the usual amphitheater setup. On the other hand, the seating capacity is around 2,400.
Recent Events In The New Amphitheater in Wilmington, NC
Guitar legend Santana performed live at the Live Oak Pavilion last September 15. Country music singer Miranda Lambert and Electro Pop Artist GRiZ also wowed the crowd in 2021 at the pavilion.
Festivals like the Lighthouse Beer and Wine Fest and Beer, Bourbon and Barbecue Festival had the crowd indulging in good food and drinks as well.
During these events, local restaurants and retail shops have seen an upsurge in sales. Residents and tourists flock to Wilmington to see their favorite artists perform live.
